It has been so long since I used Copics that I forgot how amazing they are. Like....omg.
To be honest, even though I had about 30 Copic sketch markers laying around I never really used them because I didn't feel like I had enough colors to actually do anything with. Basically when I would doodle with them I would just shade in the skin because I opted to get skin tones first and didn't have many other colors.
But now that I have my 72 set ASDFGH-

I AM IN LOVE.
WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN USING THESE THE ENTIRE TIME?! OTL
Its amazing, I actually wanted to color and not only that I wanted to finish coloring something for a change. I use to hate color with a passion, but...that isn't so with the Copics
I didn't realize it, but I think a BIG factor behind why I hated coloring so much was because when I color with colored pencils I have to use really heavy pressure and it hurts my hand. With Copics, I barely have to use pressure at all and it makes coloring so much more enjoyable. c: I don't have to stop and rest my hand every 30 minutes, so I have more energy and enthusiasm to finish coloring now <3 <3 <3
Don't get me wrong, I still love my colored pencils and will still use them, but i've just fallen in love with Copics. @v@ They are so beautiful and the blending and the no pressure and asdfgh-
Okay, i'll stop this now.

^^ Anyways, yeah. I had to draw something to welcome the arrival of my new Copics, and I'm really glad I did because....I'm so in love with them!!! >u<

xD And not just because it is one of my favorite OCs plus one of my favorite color combinations + shota + alltheotherthings
; w ; Nooo I just love the Copic colors and how they blend and....>u< Gah <3

I still need to learn to use them properly though. I need lots of practce with them to learn new techniques and such. xD Although I allready love the colorless blender because it removes mistakes. A tiny drop of ink accidentily landed on his forehead but you can't even tell because of the blender! @w@ And the technique where you touch the brush tips of two pens together to mix colors is amazing too <3
