TvT F-finally finished this nonsense.....Im working on the coloring video for Youtube now~
;v; Uhm, so yeah, I want to keep this description as simple as possible. TvT These are my two OCs, Shu (blue) and Reysol (red). If you know me, then you probably already know about these two and their relationship. If not, read dramatic textwall here to get the basic idea: [link] ;__; Uhm, so basically, Shu and Reysol have very different perspectives. While Shu is intuitive and innocent, Reysol is moral and ethical. Their differing sides caused their relationship to tear apart, each "forever stuck on one side of a chess board". In the end, neither one could fully accept the others perspective. But really, their feelings in the end weren't so different. Nor did they realize that when you take your stance on a chessboard, despite what color you represent you will always walk the path of your opposite. Black to white, white to black. In the end, it doesn't matter what you represent, you still fight on the same field to win the same goal. But sometimes you can become so lost in winning that you can't see that irony.
Also, personally speaking, I don't believe anything is "black and white". Even in chess, the black walks the white and the white walks the black. Nothing is so simple as "right and wrong", and if people take a moment to look at things this way, they can see that their ideals are not so different. The "black/white" mentality of point-blank judgement and assumption is one of the most repulsive things I have ever witnessed in my existence. Nothing is so simple and when you choose to see it as so all you do is create pain and hate. The constant swap in blue and red between each side is supposed to represent that. The idea that nothing is black and white. No side stronger or weaker, no person without sin or salvation, no game of chess where the colors never swap. ;___; Its kind of a theme is pretty much everything that I draw.
TvT There is an illusion here....if you look at first, it looks like they are staring right at each other. But if you look closely at were they each sit, you'll notice they are on different planes on the board, in actuality looking directly past each other and not noticing. TvT So hopefully you see the symbolism here. xD Also, why are the chess pieces all white? Because "when two kings are at war, their subjects are all the same". Really, it becomes a battle between just them and everyone else is irrelevant. That is what happens when you can't see what it right in front of you.
........;____; There are a lot of technical mistakes in this drawing.... Please be gentle..... T__T I just.....I like trying new things asdfgh-

You`re right, this drawing it`s full of symbolism, I really love it. The clothes of Shu and the blue hair remembers me to Ciel Phantomhive, my platonic XD I totally loooove it, really, it`s amazing. But it really took you a lonk time! You must be very pacient as to draw something like this, even if you have said already that you usually make more than one drawing at the same time since you can`t stand with only one.

OMG OMG OMG, that is so amazing! ( As Usual) And I dont know why, but Reysol reminds me of a blonde Gakupo from Vocaloid. This drawing is VERY well done. I favorited
Um... also as my avatar probably tells you... I looovveee Pokemon. Yesh. I also draw gijinkas. ( I'm so very sorry if I spelled that wrong) And I have recently done a human version of the Pokemon Shaymin in land form from Sinnoh. And the backgrounds that I drew in the picture were actually inspired by you! Thanks for the inspiration!
I really like the point you put in that description that things aren't just black and white, it really can't be because there so many things that are diverse and have deeper meanings then just shallowness that just black and white portrays. That one define line of black and that one define line of white, there's many shades of one colour but that doesn't mean it's wrong, or less right ya know? So I felt what you said here, I really liked that you said it. I adore your way of thinking and storytelling it's deep and meaningful in the way that I really enjoy stories, to be.
I like how your expressing that about that, there's no side stronger or weaker, you really make good and valid points that I find myself agreeing with.
I really love the detail between the story and all that the story holds as one. I love the colouring in this, your colouring always amazes me I love the red and blue roses, and the white chess pieces and what it holds. Basically everything
There designs are very greatly constructed, I love the glowing effect from the pastel you used.

I think this is a pretty impressive drawing You've used a lot of red, which is my personal favorite color to use in my drawings, and there is a good contrast of dark and light colors!
The composition is very effective. I was watching the videos, where you worked on the outlines and it disturbed me a little that there is so much more, hmm, free space on Shu's side because he's smaller and that so much of Reysol is cropped out... But it looks just fine now that you've colored it Besides, this picture wouldn't have worked as well if it wasn't symmetrical like this. The roses are impeccable, and I adore the ay you've drawn Reysol's hair. And Shu's hair has a lovely color but maybe the most amazing detail are the crowns. Their color... It's amazing. They look so good Could you some day make a mini tutorial on how to color metal like this? I can't color metal to save my life. I also like Reysol's clothes very much, and the entire concept and symbolism here. Especially the fact that you've managed to draw them in a way that you can see that they're not looking at each other!
Now, I don't think there are that many technical mistakes! More like... Just minor details that could be polished but don't really take away from the great picture. The perspective of their poses is a little funny, because their knees and hands are located in such a way that they should be leaning backwards (from our point of view) rather than forward, but don't worry, I didn't even notice that at first. I think their knees should be located between his hands, if that makes sense. Also, I think Shu's back is bent in a slightly painful way, but some people are like that. I would be hurting if I did that but there are many people who are more flexible and certainly wouldn't XD And these last two things are just personal preferences, but I think Reysol's ear(s) might look better if you drew them in a bit more realistic way. And I would personally enjoy a... Hmm, softer transition from red to blue on the chess board, and maybe on the roses, too. Though this is most likely because I enjoy colored pencils more. They have a natural softness that markers don't have.
Congrats for finishing this It must've been really hard work! There's so much detail and the colors are so intense
