e ne Still not Pokemon gijinkas.
.........But still animal gijinka. Which is still pretty close. OTL
; w; Anyways....Like I said before, I've been playing around with the idea of making a story involving animal gijinka for a while now, but just recently got around to acting on it. So yeah, here are some more of my OCs for it~
e ne Still just crappy concept sketches, so excuse the fail.
Sephirris is a half-breed (as in half human) merboy. His traits are taken from that of a few fish and sharks. He's 14 years old. He is calm, wise, respectful, and mature. He is Avi's best friend, and growing up with him he learned to be the responsible one. He is one of the only people who is tolerant of Avi's behavioral flaws. But even though they are best friends, the older they get the more their worlds become more evidently different. They are both somewhat jealous of each other for things they can't be or do that the other can. Seph is a half-breed, which gives him the ability to walk on human legs out of water unlike the purebreds. Avi is very jealous of that. However, Avi is a royal purebred and is given every luxury and advantage in their world. Which Seph is very jealous of. But they rarely talk about how jealous they really are of other. Seph technically works as an emissary between different tribes through their world, but also is a "guardian" for Avi, protecting him from harm. Though Seph can't really go against any of Avi's stupid ideas anyways for fear of disrespecting a royal heir and being punished. His overly respectful and formal behavior can be distracting. He gets along well with all species.
Ferora is a purebred (as in not half human) Bird-girl. Her traits are taken from that of mainly the Eagle Owl. She is 13 years old. She is brave, strong willed, and and a bit stubborn. She easily gets flustered or upset, especial when people doubt her. She -like most of the bird tribes- specializes in music and song. Her talent is playing different types of flutes. She hopes to become a great flute player so that she can join an elite group of musicians and singers within her tribe. She especially wants to get close to Edith, the lead singer of the group, as she idolizes her. Ferora loves to fly, though she never wanders too far from her people. She has prejudice towards most other species and avoids them.
Selkie....is a purebred Selkie. lol. His traits are taken from that of a Harp Seal. He is 13 years old. He looks sweet and innocent, but is actually flirtatious and a dominant personality. He tends to spend the day either lazing around sleeping, and on the rare occassion he will spar with males of other tribes for fun. Unfortunately, he was separated from his own tribe of Selkies shortly after birth and has not been able to find them since. Selkies are pretty rare in their world as it is. He was raised by another aquatic tribe, but even they tend to avoid him as much as possible because of their own prejudice. Because he is the only Selkie seen in that area, the other tribes just referred to him as "Selkie" and eventually it became his name. Selkie tends to act overly sensual for no real reason. He also hates taking orders and refuses to be submissive to anyone. He gets along decently with other species.
Vasha is a half-breed Scorpion-boy. His traits are taken from variety of black and red scorpions. He is 12 years old. Vasha is a no-nonsense desert fighter, even at such a young age. He is often rude, abrasive, and blunt, when he speaks. He wouldn't hesitate to pick a fight with anyone who stood in his way. His words are almost as deadly as his stinger. In their world, the insect-based species are the rarest and most commonly abused. Most of the Insect species are used as slave labor for other species, among other things. However, the dangerous ones -such as the Scorpions- are often killed for no reason other than fear of their population rising and overtaking other species with their fighting abilities and deadly poisons. Vasha witnessed the needless killing of many of his own tribe at a young age, and since then he fights to protect the insect-based species and to kill all other species who seek to do them harm. Because he is half human, he is also adept at wielding weapons. He gets along well with his own species, but it very distrusting of others.
